Parishioners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton have the opportunity to experience a variety of music in their worship. All of our choirs are of voluntary participation. The music ministry’s goal is to enhance the glorification of God through music. All individuals who would like to audition are invited to schedule an appointment for an interview by contacting the music ministry.

Ø     Seton Singers:  The Seton Singers are an ensemble of semi-professional and professional musicians who train on a year-round basis, encompassing a multitude of diverse musical styles and periods. Mass participation varies and public performance is a part of their outreach.

Ø     Resurrection Choir:  A very special ministry! This wonderful group of dedicated musicians provides comfort and solace to the bereaved families at all funeral and memorial celebrations. These individuals make themselves available Monday through Saturday each week. The music chosen varies according to a specific repertoire designed for such occasions.

Ø     Principal Choir:  The Principal choir participates at the 10:00 am Mass each Sunday. Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 7:00–9:00 pm during the choir season. The repertoire includes traditional as well as contemporary works. This group is required to be present at all major feast days and holidays.

Ø     Folk Group:  This choir participates at the 12:00 noon Mass each Sunday. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings promptly from 7:00–9:00 pm, in season. The repertoire consists of upbeat rhythms, instrumental and percussion ensembles.

Children’s Choir:  The children’s choir (ages 7-13) studies and performs music suitable for children to enjoy. Rounds, basic harmony, etc. are introduced in this ensemble. Children’s choir rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 5:00–6:00 pm .
